Theuns Naudé qualified through parttime studies at UNISA in the field of Finance, Administration and later on in Marketing as well as Project Management. He then educated himself further through Unisa’s Post Graduate School of Business Leadership. During this time he was mainly involved in marketing, first in the FMCG market and then moved over to marketing management in the services industry. He later on worked for many years for a Federation of Employers Organisations in the capacity as a National Manager with the responsibility of services marketing, industrial relations and training and development. In this capacity he also had the responsibility for managing a funding scheme in the building industry for training and development in various fields.

Following this he worked at a Bargaining Council as their National Agency Manager with responsibilities of enforcement in terms of the Council’s Main Collective Agreement and the Management of a legal pipeline system through offices on a national basis from Council level, through CCMA to Labour Court. In both the aforementioned role was he responsible for staff recruitment, human resource development and discipline of large numbers of staff.

In 2006 he left the corporate environment and formed which is now known as Laboria Human Resources and Industrial Relations cc together with Johan Naudé, and approximately two to three years ago the Practice converted from a Close Corporation to a (Pty) Ltd on advise of our Accountants/Auditors for various business reasons and requirements of some of our bigger clients.

Laboria represents Employers at CCMA as well as Bargaining Councils through an Employers Organisation duly registered at the Department of Employment and Labour on a Member representing Member and has been doing this with remarkable success and a well-established record of accomplishment at the aforementioned labour forums. Theuns has developed a strong relationship with various Labour Law Advocates, and they work close together in order to ensure that clients receive professional advice based on a wide spectrum of experience.
